I’m blogging from my phone again! I should start getting used to this. Ok, let’s start.
I had the most eventful and amazing year so far. I couldn’t be any more thankful. I endured lots of challenges that brought valuable lessons and shaped me who I am today.
I’m a sucker for anything that involves the ocean. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of going to the beach. I went to Panglao and Anda a couple of times. I enjoyed my time in Plantation bay, spent my Valentine’s weekend in Bantayan and swam with the turtles in Apo Island. Of course, I had the most amazing time in Boracay, too.

This is where I grew up
I also had my first ever half marathon. It’s probably the longest I’ve run in my lifetime. It’s such an achievement!
And of course, some sweet staycations.
Who would have thought that I’d survive a day full of trail biking and canyoneering? They’re probably two of the most exciting experiences I’ve had and I would do them again and again.
I had a very memorable trip to the US. I visited New York, Washington DC, Ohio, Nashville and Florida. I had my first ever roller coaster ride in Tampa and I don’t think I’ll ever ride one again. I was also able to visit Magic Kingdom in Orlando.
It was my first time to watch a broadway show and boy, was Les Miserables amazing! Maybe one day, I could visit London and watch all broadway shows!
I had too many firsts: watched college volleyball game, saw pumpkin for the first time, and went apple picking. Did you know that there are actually hundreds, if not thousands, of apple varieties?
In my lifetime, I never imagined myself eve setting foot in Australia. It’s too expensive and I thought it was beyond my league. Alas! I found a promo fare from an airline that just launched that route. I reached out to old friends and thankfully, they adopted me during my visit in Australia. Gosh, I could never forget such experience. I met awesome backpackers in Melbourne, too. Without batting an eyelash, I watched Grand Prix in Melbourne. I’ve never seen so many so many ferraris in my life!
Now I understand it when people say that they wouldn’t want to leave Australia. Maybe next time, I’ll go and hire a campervan and just drive aimlessly. There’s just too many beautiful places in Australia. Maybe I could finally scuba dive in Great Barrier Reef.
Rest of Victoria, Australia
I experienced my first ever autumn in Japan. I reached Mt. Fuji, went to Disney Sea and ate the tastiest and freshest sushi/sashimi. Just typing this makes me want to go back to japan and eat lots and lots of sushi and feast on the best-tasting ramen. I also rode the biggest and tallest ferris wheel in my life. Mind you, I cried the entire time because the the carrier was actually made of glass and the height scared me.
I spent my year with the most amazing people and I’d like to keep it that way. I already started 2016 with a bang and I intend to make it more amazing than the year before.
How did you spend your 2015? Let me hear about it!
